Lifetime coverage applies to window security screens and security screen doors originally purchased from and installed by Rome Security Co.

Coverage remains in effect for the original purchaser while they own the products and the products remain installed at the original property. Coverage is not transferable.

Coverage includes issues resulting from our original workmanship and damage to your window security screens or security screen doors during a break-in or attempted break-in. Coverage for break-in or attempted break-in damage requires documentation of the incident, such as security camera footage or a police report. Photographs of the damaged product may also be required.

Coverage excludes normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage unrelated to forced entry, improper care, modifications or repairs by others, and components covered by separate manufacturer warranties.

PRODUCT CARE

Proper care helps maintain the appearance and performance of your security screens and helps preserve applicable manufacturer warranty coverage.

  • Routine cleaning: Clean your screens periodically to remove dirt, salt, and other airborne contaminants.
  • Cleaning method: Use warm water with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft brush or microfiber cloth; avoid abrasive or strong solvent-based cleaners.
  • Coastal environments: Homes near saltwater require more frequent cleaning. Follow the recommended maintenance schedule in the Warranty & Care Guide for your environment.
